The pop-up at Aero Cocktail Co. will enchant visitors from Oct 4 to Nov 2 with creative cocktails, nightly Tarot readings, Bewitched Burlesque performances, & more…
The Cursed Cauldron, the traveling, magical pop-up experience, is taking over a new location for its second year in Houston from Friday, October 4 through Saturday, November 2. The new Aero Cocktail Co. in River Oaks will host the pop-up Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 4pm to 12am, and Sundays from 2pm to 10pm.
Founded in 2023 by long-time hospitality professionals Alexis Mijares, co-founder and Beverage Director, and Angelique Cook Cavazos, co-founder and Artistic Director, the seasonal immersive pop-up will engulf visitors in bewitching decor and art pieces, leveling up from its inaugural year and lasting twice as long. Guests will be delighted to find Aero Cocktail Co. has been transformed into that of a witch’s house, featuring artwork especially created and curated for The Cursed Cauldron. Talented artists both near and far have created enchanting details around every corner, including a 3D fireplace and Instagram-worthy photo spots. “I love incorporating tiny details into the installation,” Cook Cavazos said. We’ve spent a lot of time crafting this multi-layered experience and I’m excited for our guests to find new mystical details to explore.” Live entertainment adds to the spirited atmosphere with ongoing activations including nightly tarot card readings by The Aunty Alchemist and Bewitched Burlesque presented by Belle be Damned & Jadore Productions on Wednesdays with ticketed shows at 7:30pm and 10pm. Guests can also enjoy Sunday movie nights and workshops like pumpkin painting.
“We are going even bigger this year with creative design and spirited activities, and we’re really excited to partner with the new Aero Cocktail Co.” Alexis Mijares said. “This year has completely different visuals for a new experience for those who visited us before.” Patrons can sip on creative libations from Mijares, an award-winning beverage director who has curated a menu that will leave guests spellbound. This year’s popup will unveil a new “Witches Hour” from 4pm to 6pm with special pricing on drinks and food. Classic favorites receive a witchy twist, such as the Hexpresso Martini and Sex Magic On The Beach. Cursed Cauldron favorite sips will return along with themed shots, spirit-free options, and coven-sized serves for groups like the Bruja’s Brew.
Cocktails include:
Coven’s Calling: Gin, Dry Sherry, Elderflower, Sage, Black Pepper, Lemon, Fever Tree Tonic Water
