Help Houston Children Affected by Winter Storm Uri by Donating Non-perishable Food Items at Collection Bins in Memorial City
WHAT:
Starting now through March 12, Memorial City is hosting an Emergency Food Drive, which will benefit Kids’ Meals by helping to provide food to Houston children affected by Winter Storm Uri. At collection bins inside Memorial City Mall, the community can donate non-perishable food items including: Chewy granola bars, no sugar added fruit cups, vienna sausages, applesauce, crackers, pretzels, zero sugar fruit snacks, and individual peanut butter packets.
Kids’ Meals strives to end childhood hunger by delivering free healthy meals to the doorsteps of Houston’s hungriest preschool-aged children and provide their families with the resources to help end the cycle of poverty.
