As if being one of Memorial’s longest established restaurants wasn’t enough to draw your attention, now Pappy’s Cafe has further claimed its rightful place as a true icon in Houston’s restaurant scene.
Recently, Pappys made its television debut on Good Taste With Tanji, a KPRC Channel 2 program that features Texas restaurants, recipes, and wine. Those that know Pappy’s already know it’s truly a one of a kind place. Serving classic Texas comfort foods with regional favorites from Cajun to Mexican food, seafood and steaks, to burgers and salads, Pappy’s covers an extensive menu. Daily specials include blackened catfish with crawfish etouffee, meatloaf, shrimp enchiladas, pot roast, pork chops and soups.
