National Picnic Day-April 23rd-might look a little different this year, but that does not mean it has to feel any less special! Public Content has teamed up with local Houston restaurants to launch a #StayAtHomePicnic campaign to engage Houstonians with special picnic offers to enjoy at home.
Restaurants around Houston are uniting to collaborate on a unique, stay-at-home version of National Picnic Day. The citywide initiative invites Houstonians to order pickup or delivery picnic-perfect bundles from a number of local favorites. More than 20 beloved Houston institutions are working collectively to lift spirits in the community during this time by preparing “picnic perfect” curbside and delivery food and beverage bundles.
This city-wide initiative encourages community members to engage and socialize remotely while enjoying a delicious meal indoors during this picnic-friendly season. Participants of Public Contents picnic initiative are asked to post pictures of their setups, using thehashtags #StayAtHomePicnic and #NationalPicnicDay, so the sense of community fostered by this initiative is apparent online.
