Lettuce Welcome Hopdoddy Burger Bar To Citycentre; Sought After Austin Concept Anticipating Early Fall 2018 Debut On Prime Sorella Court Corner
Hopdoddy Burger Bar, the nationally acclaimed burger and beer joint that initially entered the Houston market in spring 2016, is opening its first west side location at CITYCENTRE in early fall 2018. Born in Austin, the dynamic concept has earned a cult following and accolades from outlets ranging from Food & Wine and Business Insider to CNBC and MSN for its quality-focused, fast casual fare and festive ambiance.
“The city of Houston has been so welcoming to Hopdoddy and we are thrilled to join the thriving CITYCENTRE development. CITYCENTRE is one of Houston’s top dining destinations and hubs for entertainment, so it is an ideal place for us to expand our presence in this lively city,” said Hopdoddy Burger Bar CEO, Jeff Chandler.
Build out of the 4,001-square-foot restaurant space is anticipated to start soon. Hopdoddy Burger Bar will occupy a prime, ground floor corner with patio space on Sorella Court, directly across from Sweet Paris, steps from Hotel Sorella and adjacent to Ecurie25 Supercar Club and Urban Outfitters.
According to Suzanne Weatherall, Senior Vice President of Asset Management at Midway, “Hopdoddy is one of the most in demand brands for developers and diners, and we are thrilled they have found a new home at CITYCENTRE, where our unique patio culture, mix of attractions and seasonal programming make any meal an event.”
Hopdoddy Burger Bar joins a carefully curated roster of local, regional and national food and beverage offerings including San Francisco-based MINA Group’s International Smoke, which unveils this spring.
