MetroNational, the Houston-based privately-held real estate investment, development, and management company, announced that Common Bond will open an On-The-Go location at the newly reimagined greenspace, The Lawn at Memorial City.
“The Common Bond is a perfect addition to Memorial City as we continue to introduce Houston’s favorite food concepts to the West Houston market,” said Danna Diamond, MetroNational’s Vice President of Retail Leasing. “The new On-The-Go offering is literally the ‘common bond’ that will bring together all those that live, work or come to experience an event at our new Lawn.”
Celebrating the love of good food, the menu will feature its signature coffee drink, the Frozen Bond, a selection of fresh pastry items such as croissants, scones, kouign-amann, kugelhopfs and macarons. Plus, there will be grab-and-go items including breakfast bites, sandwiches and packaged goods, like Apple Cinnamon Coffee Cake and White Chocolate Apple Blondies. In addition to the irresistible food items and full-service coffee bar, the new locations will also offer the new OTG Vegetarian Sandwich, a toasty lunch treat with everything spiced cream cheese, pickled red onions, avocado, cucumber and arugula on sunflower rye bread. To top it off, frose and mimosas are also available by the glass or in a carafe.
The first Common Bond On-The-Go will be situated at The Lawn at Memorial City, the 30,000 square-foot unique dining and event space adjacent to Hotel ZaZa Memorial City and the newly opened luxury apartment high-rise, The McKinley.
