The Memorial High School Chapter of Hunters for the Hungry held their fourth annual lunch pack event benefitting Kids’ Meals of Houston on February 27th.
The successful service project was held at the home of Jack Myers, student coordinator for this event. A total of 37 club members shopped for, assembled and delivered 1700 healthy lunch bags to Kids’ Meals of Houston. The Kids’ Meals Lunch Pack Program provides healthy lunches to preschool-aged children in Houston. This is always a fun project for the members to participate in, knowing they are making a direct impact to help feed children in the Houston area.
