BEERS, BITES, BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: “THE OFFICE”-THEMED POP UP BAR OPENS NEXT WEEK

Dunder Mupplen, “The Office”-themed pop-up bar located at 711 Main Street in downtown Houston, today announces its opening on January 15, 2021. Plethora/Four44 Hospitality Group Inc.,the team behind Santa’s Tavern, The Muggle-less Barand Jingled Up, has created an over-the-top, immersive experience for “The Office” fans.“My goal is to create unforgettable experiences to downtown Houston,” said Asha Holloway, owner of Plethora/Four44 Hospitality Group Inc.“For years, ’The Office’ brought people together and created its own ‘culture’,so we are so excited to bring it to life with added twists exclusive to us.”  The 13,000 square-foot, indoor and outdoors pace makes Dunder Mupplen the largest pop-up bar in Houston. Drawing inspiration from the hit TV show, Holloway enlisted the help of Smash Design to build a one-of-a-kind experience for super fans. Dunder Mupplen offers activities such as “The Office” trivia on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday, costume contests on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday, Dundy Awards and multiple themed photo opportunities. Cocktails, mocktails and food will be available for an additional cost. Guests will have the opportunity to indulge in themed cocktails like the “So Sue Me,” “Orange-Vod-Juice-Kahh” or the shareable cocktail, “World’s Best Boss,” which is served in an oversized coffee cup. For those looking for a non-alcoholic beverage, Dunder Mupplen offers a mocktails such as the “Mercy Killed.”The menu features items such as Kevin’s chili. “I have loved creating a place for Houstonians to have fun and enjoy our themed pop-up experiences,” said Holloway. “Our goal is to bring people together while still remaining sensitive to the ongoing pandemic.
