After 42 years of serving hungry downtown office workers, local icon, Treebeards, will bring its fresh Southern food to Memorial beginning in Summer 2020. Treebeards’ sixth location, however, will be a bit of a change from its previous ones as it, happily, will be open for dinner and on weekends in addition to lunch. The restaurant is adding some delicious new dinner specials and appetizers to its well-loved lunch menu while also making sure that there will be plenty of its famous buttercake to please your sweet tooth. The 5,868-square-foot space will seat 140 people and contain a full bar that opens onto a patio. The restaurant is located just east of Bunker Hill Road along Gaylord Drive (9655 Katy Freeway). Treebeards can’t get here soon enough. Our mouths are already watering!
