Four Scouts were awarded the rank of Eagle Scout at the Court of Honor ceremony held November 28, 2018 at Troop 642 sponsored by Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church.
Chase Bains, age 18, Freshman in Electrical Engineering at A&M. Chase selected Good Country Baptist Church in Pattison, TX as beneficiary for his Eagle Scout Service Project. He provided new benches, fruit trees, landscaping and irrigation to the front façade of the church.
Luke Snelling, age 16, Junior at Stratford High School. Luke’s Eagle Scout Service Project was to design, organize, build and transport a massive owl enclosure for the Wildlife Center for Texas. The center provides protection and rehabilitation for the little critters of Harris County.
David Jeske, age 17, Senior at Memorial High School. David’s Eagle Scout Service Project benefitted Communidad de Garcia, a LCMS Church in East Houston, involving a remodel of a Sunday School room to provide a welcoming space to teach children about God.
David Mouton, age 17, Junior at Stratford High School. David’s Eagle Project involved the complete demolition of 60 feet of wooden boardwalk for Kleb Woods Nature Center in Tomball and replacing it with a newer, sturdier version.
