The energy was high, the laughter was loud and a great time was had by all in attendance at the kickoff event for the 2017 Women Driving Business High Heel Connections networking event series.
The Houston West Chamber of Commerce hosted a breakfast in August at the Lakeside Country Club, featuring special guest, TV and radio personality Shara Fryer. As the keynote speaker, Fryer brought the audience along a journey of her life and career as the longest serving woman news anchor in Houston history. Women in attendance also enjoyed shopping, high-end door prizes and networking over breakfast and a champagne toast. The second event in the series was a luncheon featuring motivational and inspirational humorist Suzie Humphreys, who is widely known for her witty outlook on life. To cap off an extraordinary series of events is the Afternoon Tea & Sponsor Celebration. Borrowing from our English cousins, the Women Driving Business sponsors and planning committee will enjoy high tea and a special reception at the Royal Oaks Country Club. The event will feature a fashion show, retail pop-up shops, live music and two tea experts straight from London.
The Women Driving Business series of events is made possible by generous sponsors who value the opportunity to meet face-to-face with women decision-makers. The Rose, a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives through quality breast healthcare, is the 2017 presenting sponsor of Women Driving Business.
