What can you say when you see so much devastation all around you…
I know it has been overstated in the media since it’s happened, but Houston really did come together when Harvey hit. I don’t think anyone imagined the destruction that would come with this catastophic storm or that we would still be talking about it, but as a Memorialite, I’ve never been more proud to live in Memorial.
We were hit hard. However, as fast as the Buffalo Bayou rose, so did our neighbors, helping other neighbors in need. Swoon Memorial rounded up some photos from Facebook, friends and some we took ourselves to show the pure love this community has for each other. We know this will be a long road ahead for our community, but we know the people who live here and we also know they are up to the challenge.
